(RECAP: Poverty continues to increase in Chesterfield County as incomes decline, continuing a decade-long trend of underperforming household income trends statewide. Median household income in the county last year was $66,881, down $3,362, or 4.8 percent, from $70,243 the year before, according to new figures from the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey.
